Mega Man 2.5D is, as its name suggests, an adaptation based on the first 2D titles of the series, but this time with 3D settings to offer a gameplay with more depth and twists without losing the minute precision of the platform system for which the series is known.
Mega Man 2.5D is a fangame following the original structure where you can choose to play the different levels in whatever order you want. The biggest difference in the game, besides the improved graphics, is the option to play cooperatively in certain situations that are best resolved by interacting: for instance, by climbing on top of each other to reach previously unreachable platforms and other things.
The game is constantly evolving, and in the end, it should have eight normal and two bonus levels before you have to face Dr. Willy. Still, the successive betas are fully functional and include all kinds of settings, situations, and confrontations with all kinds of bosses.
